Waves and information
Combine two sinusoidal waves. Adjust frequency and phase, then identify beats, standing patterns, and points of destructive interference from the actual summed displacement.
What changed
Frequency setting 55 fixes the spacing of cycles; phase setting 35 changes alignment and therefore interference.
Return to the route
Experiment after prediction.
Before changing a control, say which visible feature should move and which should remain invariant. That prediction is the useful part of the experiment; motion alone is not evidence.
